Welcome to Touch of Turquoise,
this solely owned and operated business is located in The Old Pueblo, Tucson, Arizona. Land of history, mountains
and year around sunshine.
The owner of this company is Barb Henderson Yoder. Being in the business
for over 35 years she has gained much knowledge of quality products and has
had many satisfied customers through the years. Barb started her business
in Gallup, New Mexico in the early 1960's. After a
few years she moved to the Midwest and introduced the beautiful jewelry of the
Southwest to many resort shops, quality women's shops and unique boutiques.
Originally from the
Chicagoland area, she decided to open a fashionable women's wear shop and
married her beautiful jewelry to her women's apparel. She branched out and
opened another store but after several years her heart was calling her back
to her beloved Southwest. She and her family packed up 25 years ago and
headed for Tucson, Arizona.
Her business has continued all these years and now her sister, Maurine
Guinta, who lived in Chicago all her life, has finally
joined her in this continuing adventure. This union has made for a happy
team and their goal is to bring to their customers the best quality of
Southwest Products and utmost in satisfied customer relationships.
We
have also brought on the next generation to assist us. Raised in Tucson, Scott and Christine Logan
have been raised with a love and respect for the culture of the
Southwest. Learning from their
elders and maintaining our attitude of excellence and integrity at Touch of
Turquoise, they will endeavor to provide support.
